Two Pak Army officers injured in Indian retaliation along LoC

New Delhi (NVI): Two Pakistani Army officers were injured, when the Indian Army gave a befitting response to unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch Sector of Jammu and Kashmir today, officials said here.

“The Pakistani Army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing of small arms and shelling with mortars along LoC in Poonch sector. Indian Army retaliated befittingly and in this two Pak Army officers have reportedly got injured,” officials said.

Director General, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted that two officers of Pakistan Army got injured in Rakhchikri, Rawalakot Sector along LOC in firing by Indian Army.

On November 29, Pakistan Army had resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation, along the LoC in Balakote area of Mendhar Sector in Poonch District, and on November 26, in the Akhnoor sector of jammu District.
