There is enough negativity in the world which gets highlighted more prominently in the media because there is a belief in journalism that “negativity sells”.
We, at News Vibes of India (NVI), are daring to sell positivity, instead of negativity. Our endeavour is to give prominence to positive aspects of the society and the country.
We are attempting to lay more focus on development issues, particularly those related to healthcare, environment, climate change, water, renewable energy and education.
We also strive to provide feel-good news and hence there is a section for hospitality and tourism.
NVI also has a section on Jammu and Kashmir, where we are trying to highlight positive news related to the newly-created Union Territory, which is generally in news for unrest, violence and bloodshed.
Besides, we give space to India’s security and foreign policy related news.
While doing all this, we cannot remain oblivious to the major happenings taking place in the country and the world in other areas. For this, we have ‘News in Brief’ section.
We intend to expand the coverage of developmental issues as we move on.
It’s a humble beginning but our aspirations are ambitious.
We are a team of journalists being guided and mentored by seasoned journalist Ajay Kaul, who has over 25 years of experience in the field, including nearly 24 years with Press Trust of India (PTI).
