24 people at Army’s RR Hospital in Delhi test positive for Covid-19

New Delhi (NVI): At least 24 in-patients at Army’s RR Hospital in Delhi have been tested positive for coronavirus, defence spokesperson said today.

The patients, who include serving as well as retired military personnel and dependents, were undergoing treatment at the Oncology Department of RR Hospital, the Army spokesperson said.

All have been shifted to Army Base Hospital in Delhi Cantonment, he added.

India has reported 46,433 coronavirus cases so far, while 32,138 are under medical supervision. In the last 24 hours, 3,900 positive cases have been reported with 195 deaths and 1020 recoveries. A total of 1,568 people have lost their lives due to the virus so far. There has been a total of 12,726 recoveries and the recovery rate stands at 27.41 per cent, according the latest data available with Health Ministry.
