New Delhi: India recorded 38,667 fresh COVID-19 cases and 478 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,30,732 while the total active cases are 3,87,673, it said.
Nearly 35,743 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,13,38,088, the Health Ministry said.
Yesterday, the country recorded 40,120 COVID-19 cases and 585 deaths in 24 hours.
On Thursday, the country recorded 41,195 COVID-19 cases and 490 deaths in 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country recorded 38,353 COVID-19 cases and 497 deaths in 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country recorded 28,204 Covid cases in 24 hours, which is the lowest in 147 days.
On Monday, the country recorded 35,499 COVID-19 cases and 447 deaths in 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country recorded 39,070 COVID-19 cases and 491 deaths in 24 hours.
