4 Pakistani security personnel killed in TTP attacks

Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) today said it killed at least 3 Pakistani army personnel and a policeman and injured a number of others in multiple attacks at various places since last night.

The TTP attacked a military installation this morning in Shah Hasan Khel area of ​​Lakki Marwat district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with light and heavy weapons, as a result of which 2 military personnel were killed and many were injured, its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said in a statement.

There is a high possibility of financial losses too, he said.

There is also a strong possibility of loss of life and property in an attack carried out by TTP today on a military post in Bannu district of North Waziristan with light and heavy weapons, Khurasani said.

Earlier, TTP last night attacked a police vehicle with a hand grenade in Nawan Kali, a suburb of Quetta, the main city of Balochistan, killing one policeman and injuring another, he said.

Before that, TTP attacked an army post with a sniper in Zhawarkalai area of ​​Shaktoi in South Waziristan and killed an army officer, the spokesman said.
