New Delhi: India recorded 43,071 new COVID-19 cases and 955 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total number of active coronavirus cases in the country has gone up to 4,85,350 while the cumulative death toll has reached 4,02,005.
Yesterday, the country recorded 44,111 new COVID-19 cases and 738 deaths in 24 hours.
On Friday, the country reported 46,617 new COVID-19 cases and 853 deaths in 24 hours.
On Thursday, the country registered 48,786 new COVID-19 cases and 1,005 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country reported 45,951 new single day cases of corona and 817 deaths.
On Tuesday, the country recorded 37,566 new COVID-19 cases and 907 deaths in 24 hours.
On Monday, the country reported 46,148 new COVID-19 cases and 979 deaths in 24 hours.
