Srinagar, Dec 3 (NVI): The fourth batch of 99 Agniveers was attested in a grand ceremony at the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI) Regimental Centre, marking the culmination of their 31 weeks of rigorous training.
This milestone event was a testament to their determination and commitment to serving the nation.
In a statement issued to NVI, the defence spokesman in Srinagar said: “The ceremony commenced with a National Salute to the flag, followed by a formal parade and oath-taking.
In a heartwarming gesture, the proud parents of the Agniveers were presented with the ‘Gaurav Padak,’ honoring their sacrifices and support for their children’s dedication to national service.”
The spokesman said: “This is not just an attestation, but a celebration of resilience, discipline, and the spirit of service. The Agniveers have undergone a transformative journey, ready to serve the nation with unwavering commitment and honor.
