Srinagar (NVI) : Unidentified gunmen on Sunday evening shot dead a civilian at Tral area of south Kashmir.
The deceased civilian has been identified as Ghulam Nabi of Payan area of Tral.
Nabi, who was contractor by profession, was fired at by unidentified gunmen and left injured. He was rushed to local hospital where he was declared brought dead on arrival.
According to police, the reason behind the attack is not known yet. The forces have cordoned off the area to nab the culprits.
