COVID-19 cases surpass 25,000 in Bangladesh

New Delhi (NVI): The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Bangladesh reached 370 after 21 more people lost their lives in the last 24 hours, according to United News of Bangladesh.

The total number of coronavirus infections rose to 25,121 after 1,251 new infections were reported during this period.

Meanwhile, 408 coronavirus-infected people were reported to have recovered in the country in the last 24 hours.

Additional Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Nasima Sultana said, “Currently, the total number of isolation beds in the country, including Dhaka stands at 13,284.”

She added, in the last 24 hours, 3,531 more people have been home and institutionally quarantined while 326 taken to isolation.
