New Delhi (NVI): India saw the highest ever jump is coronavirus cases after 15,968 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of positive cases to 4,56,183, according to Health Ministry data.
Meanwhile, the total number of fatalities due to the deadly contagion rose to 14,476 in the country after 465 new fatalities were reported during this period.
With, 1,39,010 positive cases Maharashtra remains the worst hit state in the country, followed by Delhi with 66,602 cases and Tamil Nadu which has reported 64,603 cases.
