New Delhi (NVI): India continues to witness a sharp surge in Covid-19 cases, after another 22,752 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, raising the total number to 7,42,417, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The death toll has climbed to 20,642 with 482 new fatalities being recorded since yesterday..
Maharashtra, with, 2,17,121 positive cases remains the worst-hit state in the country, followed by Tamil Nadu with 1,18,594 cases and Delhi which has reported 1,028,31 cases.
