New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India crossed the 13 lakh-mark today after 48,916 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 13,36,861, according to Union Health Ministry data.
Meanwhile, the death toll stands at 31,358 after 757 new fatalities were reported in the country during this period.
In terms of total number of cases, Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state with 3,57,117 coronavirus cases followed by Tamil Nadu with 1,99,749 and Delhi with 1,28,389 positive cases.
