New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India jumped to 15,83,792, after 52,123 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, the biggest single-day jump so far, according to Union Health Ministry data.
This is the first time that India crossed 50,000-mark in a single day.
Meanwhile, the death toll stands at 34,968 after 775 new fatalities were reported in the country during this period.
