New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has reached 28,36,925, after 69,652 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to Union Health Ministry data.
Meanwhile, the death toll stands at 53,866 after 977 new fatalities were reported in the country during this period.
In the worst-hit Maharashtra, the coronavirus cases climbed to 6,28,642, followed by Tamil Nadu with 3,55,449 cases, and Andhra Pradesh with 3,16,003 cases.
