New Delhi (NVI): The world’s coronavirus cases have hit 27.3 million, more than 18.1 million people have recovered and more than 8,92,000 people have died, according to Johns Hopkins University.
In the US, the number of coronavirus infections have surpassed 6.3 million while the death toll has crossed 1,89,000 in the country.
Brazil’s coronavirus cases have climbed past 4.14 million while the number of fatalities are nearing 1,30,000.
Spain has become the first country in Western Europe to register 500,000 coronavirus infections, after a second surge in cases that coincided with schools reopening.
