Amit Shah admitted to AIIMS again

New Delhi (NVI): Nearly two weeks after he was discharged from Delhi’s AIIMS, Home Minister Amit Shah was admitted to the hospital again last night. He was earlier admitted to AIIMS for post Covid-care after he was diagnosed with the infection.

“Shri Amit Shah, Honourable Home Minister was discharged from AIIMS, New Delhi, after post Covid care on August 30. As per advise given at discharge, he has now been admitted for complete medical checkup before parliament session for 1-2 days,” AIIMS said in an official statement this morning.

On August 2, Amit Shah informed on Twitter that he was diagnosed with Covid-19, which has affected over 47 lakh people in the country. The BJP leader was taken to Medanta in Gurgaon. He had tweeted on August 14 that he would be in home isloation for few more days on the advice of his doctors.

The Union Minister was admitted to AIIMS on August 18 after he complained of “fatigue and body ache”. He left the hospital after 13 days on August 31 after the doctors said the Home Minister had “recovered”.

Last night, at around 11 PM, he was admitted to the hospital again.
