Srinagar (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has announced a “comprehensive plan” to fill up 25,000 vacancies in the Union Territory soon. Out of these, 10,000 vacant posts have already been advertised.
In a tweet today, LG Sinha said that the J&K government is also working to fulfill the assurance given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi about 50,000 jobs to the unemployed youth in the Union Territory.
“A Comprehensive Plan is in offing for filling up 25,000 vacancies with 10,000 posts already advertised. The UT Government is also working on fulfilling the assurance of 50,000 jobs given by the Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi,” Sinha tweeted.
In another tweet, the LG said that the recruitment rallies for Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), paramilitary forces and Jammu and Kashmir police shall also be conducted across the Union Territory soon.
“Central Armed Police Force, Paramilitary Forces and JKP recruitment rallies shall also be conducted across the UT. The Government is laying special focus on connectivity to every village and every household,” he tweeted.
Pertinently, in the past one year alone, over one lakh unemployed youth have registered themselves at the Employment exchange in J&K. As per official data, at least 5.5 lakh educated youth are unemployed in the UT.
