Srinagar (NVI): Two Border Security Force (BSF) men sustained injuries during the unprovoked ceasefire violation (CFV) by Pakistan Army along the Line of Control (LOC) in Mendhar sector of Poonch district of Jammu, security officials said today.
Security officials said that the intense shelling took place in the Makote area of Mendhar sub-division that lasted for the entire day and was going on till evening.
“Two BSF men guarding a forward post sustained injuries in Mendhar area. They were rushed to hospital where they are under treatment,” officials said.
A BSF official said that firing and shelling with small arms and mortars was going on in the area when last reports poured in.
