2 suspected JeM terrorists arrested in Delhi

New Delhi (NVI): Delhi Police has arrested two suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists last night and foiled a major attack in the national capital.

The Special Cell of Delhi Police made the arrests to prevent a major terror attack in Delhi.

Both the terrorists, who were arrested from Sarai Kale Khan area of Delhi, are now being questioned by police officials.

“Two suspected terrorists have been apprehended along with 2 semi-automatic pistols and 10 live cartridges,” said police officials.

The terrorists, both residents of Jammu and Kashmir and in their early 20s, are linked to terror group of Jaish-e-Mohammad. They have been identified as Abdul Latif Mir and Mohammad Ashraf Khatana.

According to the officials, a trap was laid near Millennium Park in Sarai Kale Khan around 10.15 pm last night and the duo was held.
