New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India crossed 92 lakh-mark and currently stands at 92,22,217 after 44,376 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.
The country’s death toll stands at 1,34,699 after 481 new fatalities were reported during the same period.
In the worst-affected Maharashtra, COVID-19 confirmed cases increased to 17,89,800 which include 46,683 deaths. The active cases in the state stand at 83,221 and 16,58,879 recoveries.
