Six Sigma Healthcare to be presented CSR award

Six Sigma Healthcare selected for CSR awards .

New Delhi (NVI): President Ram Nath Kovind will present the National Corporate Social Responsibility Award to Six Sigma Healthcare – High Altitude Medical Services, for their outstanding contribution in area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The awards will be conferred by the President on October 29 at Vigyan Bhawan here.

According to Dr Pradeep Bhardwaj, CEO, Six Sigma Healthcare, “This year 528 entries were received. After shortlisting as per the prescribed criteria of the jury, followed by field verification of the claims made by the companies, Six Sigma Healthcare is selected”.

Dr Bhardwaj said that Six Sigma Healthcare is providing free CSR services in high altitude areas both in India and abroad. It is now an asset to the nation, as they are providing most difficult mountain medic services in all the difficult yatra’s of India like Kailash Mansarover, Amarnath Yatra, Kedarnath Yatra, Manimahesh Yatra, and Hemkund Sahib Yatra.

Till date they treated 93,647 patient in mountains and rescued more than 6,200 victims stuck up in high altitude disaster like the Kedarnath deluge, Nepal earthquake and Jammu and Kashmir flood.

The National CSR awards have been instituted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to recognise corporate initiatives in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to achieve inclusive growth and sustainable development.

These awards are the highest re-organisation in the domain of CSR by the Government of India.
