Arms and ammunition recovered in J&K’s Poonch

Poonch (NVI): Joint Forces in Jammu and Kashmir have recovered arms and ammunition in Poonch district today.

The recovery was made after three militant associates, arrested a couple of days back, were put to sustained questioning, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Poonch, Ramesh Agarwal said.

He said two pistols, seventy pistol rounds and two grenades kept in bushes near LoC in Dabbi village of Balakote Sector in Mendhar, Poonch, were recovered this morning by a search party led by Sub Divisional Police Officer, Mendhar, Zaheer Jafri.

The SSP said more arrests are expected in coming days.
