New Delhi (NVI): The Uttar Pradesh government has said that it is considering to reopen schools for classes 6 to 12 across the state in the next ten days.
According to the UP Chief Minister’s Office, the classes should be resumed only after a complete evaluation of the situation.
The official Twitter handle of CMO UP in Hindi tweeted, “According to the guidelines of the Government of India, the schools should be considered for starting classes from class 6 to class 12 in the next 10 days. These classes should be started only after a thorough assessment of the situation.”

This is not the first time the schools will reopen in Uttar Pradesh after the pandemic.
Earlier in October 2020, the schools reopened for Classes 9 to 12 in a graded manner outside the containment zones.
Meanwhile, UP board practical examinations for 2021 begin on Wednesday, according to the reports.
This year, the examination would be conducted in two phases. The first phase will begin on February 3 and the second phase from February 13, while the theory examinations, are scheduled to be conducted in April/May.
So far, Uttar Pradesh had registered 600,642 coronavirus cases with 8,668 deaths, the Health Ministry data shows.
