Pakistani intruder shot dead by BSF along IB in Jammu’s Samba

New Delhi (NVI): The Border Security Forces (BSF) today shot down a Pakistani intruder along the International Border in Jammu’s Samba district.

A BSF official said the incident took place near the Chak Faquira border post in the Samba sector at around 9:45 am.

“On February 8, 2021 at around 9:45 am, ever vigilant BSF troops observed a Pak Intruder heading towards BS fence near BP No 64 in area of BOP Chak Faquira, Sector Samba, Jammu,” read an official statement.

It added that despite repeated warnings, the intruder kept moving towards the border fence at IB and was fired upon by BSF troops.

Meanwhile, the dead body of the Pakistani intruder has been recovered from approx 40 metres from International Border (IB) and the search of the area is in progress.
