New Delhi (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested a top terrorist affiliated with The Resistance Force (TRF) from Samba district on late Friday night.
The police has identified the terrorist as Zahoor Ahmad Rather.
According to the sources, Zahoor was in Samba to collect Pakistani weapons consignment, which was to be dropped from a drone when the arrest happened.
The team of police from J&K’s Anantnag had come and carried out a joint search operation with Samba police.
Moreover, the terrorist was allegedly involved in the killing of BJP workers and police personnel in South Kashmir. He had killed one policeman in Furrah, Kulgam and three BJP workers in Vessu, Kulgam last year.
