New Delhi (NVI): With 12,194 fresh cases in last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 tally today rose to 1,09,04,940, according to the latest data available with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
1,06,11,731 people have recovered from the deadly infection in the country, so far.
Apart from that, 92 people have lost their lives due to the virus since yesterday taking the country’s overall death toll to 1,55,642. 11,106 more Covid patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, as per the Health Ministry.
The active number of coronavirus cases now stands at 1,37,567 which is a mere 1.25% of the total positive cases.
In addition to this, 82,63,858 people have been administered Covid-19 vaccine in the country so far under a mega inoculation program that began on January 16.
