New Delhi (NVI): India today recorded 11,649 new coronavirus cases and 90 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry.
With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has touched 1,09,16,589 while the the death toll has topped 1,55,732.
India’s case fatality rate currently stands at 1.43% which is one of the lowest in the world, according to the Health Ministry.
Apart from that, the active cases have witnessed a rise of 2,070 cases since yesterday. The active Covid-19 cases in the country now stand at 139,637, which accounts for 1.26% of the total positive cases, as per the Ministry.
