Srinagar (NVI): Three terrorists and a policeman were killed and a cop injured in two separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir since last night.
According to officials, three unidentified terrorists were killed in an encounter with the security forces in Badigam area of Shopian district in Kashmir.
“Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition were recovered. Search going on,” officials added.
Meanwhile, in another encounter, a police personnel was killed while another was injured in Beerwah area of Budgam district.
1 police personnel SPO Mohammad Altaf was martyred and constable Manzoor Ahmad was injured in the encounter, according to the official statement.
The operation is still going on in the area, the statement added.
