New Delhi (NVI): More than 115.5 million people around the world have been confirmed to have the coronavirus, while the death toll has crossed 2,569,000, according to the Johns Hopkins University tally. Over 65.3 million patients have recovered from the deadly disease globally.
The number of coronavirus infections in the US has surpassed 28.8 million, while the number of fatalities caused due to the deadly contagion has surpassed 5,20,000 in the country.
Brazil’s coronavirus cases have crossed the 10.7 million-mark and stand at 10,793,732 while the number of deaths has surged past 2,60,000.
Meanwhile, New Zealand’s Auckland seven-day lockdown is due to lift on Sunday morning after no new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the community on Friday.
China reported 9 new coronavirus cases in the mainland on March 4, compared with 10 cases a day earlier, the country’s health commission said.
