New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 11.2 million-mark and currently stands at 11,229,398 after 18,599 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

The country’s death toll stands at 1,57,853 after 97 new fatalities were reported during the same period.

Maharashtra remains the worst-affected state with 22,19,727 COVID-19 cases followed by Kerala with 10,77,327 and Karnataka with 9,55,015 positive cases.
