New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 11.2 million-mark and currently stands at 11,244,786 after 15,388 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

The country’s death toll stands at 1,57,930 after 77 new fatalities were reported during the same period.

Maharashtra remains the worst-affected state with 22,28,471 COVID-19 cases followed by Kerala with 10,78,739 and Karnataka with 9,55,451 positive cases.
