New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 11.3 million-mark and currently stands at 11,333,728 after 24,882 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.
The country’s death toll stands at 1,58,446 after 140 new fatalities were reported during the same period.
In worst-affected Maharashtra 15,817 new coronavirus cases were reported on Friday, the highest number of single-day cases in nearly 6 months which increased the tally to 22,82,191.
