New Delhi (NVI): At least three District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel were killed while five others were critically injured, besides 10 others wounded in an IED blast after the bus they were travelling in was targeted by Naxals in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.
The bus carrying DRG personnel came under the attack by Naxals between Kadenar and Kanhargaon in Narayanpur district.
The bus was carrying 27 personnel. The powerful blast that left a huge crater on the road.
45th battalion of ITBP was engaged in evacuating the injured. Meanwhile, the entire area has been cordoned off and search is on.
