New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 11.7 million-mark and currently stands at 11,787,534 after 53,476 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

The country’s death toll stands at 1,60,692 after 251 new fatalities were reported during the same period.

Maharashtra remains the worst-affected state with 25,64,881 COVID-19 cases followed by Kerala with 11,09,908 and Karnataka with 9,75,955 positive cases.
