New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 11.8 million-mark and currently stands at 11,846,652 after 59,118 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

The country’s death toll stands at 1,60,949 after 257 new fatalities were reported during the same period.

Maharashtra remains the worst-affected state with 26,00,833 COVID-19 cases followed by Kerala with 11,11,897 and Karnataka with 9,78,478 positive cases.
