New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 11.9 million-mark and currently stands at 11,908,910 after 62,258 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

The country’s death toll stands at 1,61,240 after 291 new fatalities were reported during the same period.

Maharashtra remains the worst-affected state with 26,37,735 COVID-19 cases followed by Kerala with 11,13,772 and Karnataka with 9,81,044 positive cases.
