New Delhi (NVI): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has tested positive for the Covid-19 infection with mild symptoms. He urged people who came in contact with him in the last few days to follow the required protocols.
“After experiencing mild symptoms, I’ve just tested positive for COVID. All those who’ve been in contact with me recently, please follow all safety protocols and stay safe,” Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter.

Congress leader had recently suspended all his public rallies in poll-bound West Bengal due to the spiralling Covid-19 situation in the country. He had also advised political leaders against holding election rallies.
Rahul had been campaigning for the ongoing assembly elections in Kerala, Assam and West Bengal.
On Monday, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi after he tested positive for the infection.
