New Delhi (NVI) India has imported 20 cryogenic tankers of 10 MT and 20 MT capacity and allocated them to five states, to address shortage of oxygen tankers in the country, the Ministry of Health said in a statement today.

Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi and Gujarat have been allocated these tankers, according to a statement by Ministry of Health.

The cryogenic tankers have been imported through Panagarh port in West Bengal, Jamnagar port and Mundra port in Gujarat.
