New Delhi (NVI): In order to bolster fight against COVID pandemic, a contingent of 41 naval personnel from Western Naval Command has been deputed to the COVID Hospital in Dhanvantari in Ahmedabad.
The medical team of Naval staff is being deployed for a period of two months and will assist the hospital administration in handling covid patients, the Defence ministry said in a statement.
The team comprises medical officers, nursing officers, paramedics and support staff, it said.
This is in addition to a 57 member naval medical team that was already positioned at the hospital on April 29.
