New Delhi (NVI): India reported 2,11,298 new Covid-19 cases and 3,847 deaths in last 24 hrs, Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total number of deaths due to coronavirus has gone up to 3,15,235 while the cumulative active cases are 24,19,907.
Yesterday, the country reported 2,08,921 new single day Covid-19 cases along with 4,157 deaths.
On Tuesday, the reported number of single day Covid cases in India dropped below 2 lakh, with 1,96,427 new cases being recorded in 24 hours.
The single day deaths also showed a decline yesterday, with 3,511 fatalities being reported in a span of 24 hours.
On Monday, 4,454 new single day fatalities were reported along with 2,22,315 fresh cases.
On Sunday, the country recorded 2,40,842 new Covid-19 cases & 3,741 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
