New Delhi: States and Union Territories still have over 2.98 crores COVID vaccines of the total 29.35 crore doses that were provided by the government so far, the Union Health Ministry said today.
The central government has so far provided, both through the free of cost category and direct state procurement category, more than 29.35 crores (29,35,04,820) vaccine doses to States/UTs, the Ministry said.
Of this, the total consumption, including wastages is 26,36,26,884 doses (as per data available at 8 AM today).
More than 2.98 crore (2,98,77,936) COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered, the Ministry said.
Furthermore, more than 2,310 vaccine doses are in the pipeline and will be received by the States/UTs within the next 3 days, it added.
According to the data available, a total of 28,00,36,898 vaccination doses have been administered across the country so far.
