New Delhi: India recorded 44,111 new COVID19 cases and 738 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total Covid death toll has gone up to 4,01,050 while the cumulative active cases are 4,95,533.
Nearly 57,477 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 2,96,05,779, the Health Ministry said.
According to the data available, a total of 34,46,11,291 vaccination doses have been administered to the people of India so far.
Yesterday, the country recorded 46,617 new COVID19 cases and 853 deaths in the last 24 hours.
On Thursday, the country recorded 48,786 new COVID19 cases and 1,005 deaths in the last 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country recorded 45,951 new COVID19 cases and 817 deaths in the last 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country recorded 37,566 new COVID19 cases and 907 deaths in the last 24 hours.
On Monday, the country recorded 46,148 new COVID19 cases and 979 deaths in the last 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country recorded 50,040 new COVID19 cases and 1,258 deaths in the last 24 hours.
