New Delhi: States and Union Territories still have over 2.89 crore COVID vaccine doses of the total 56.81 crore doses that were provided by the government so far, the Union Health Ministry said today.
More than 2.89 Cr (2,89,47,890) balance and unutilized doses are still available with States/UTs and private hospitals to be administered, the Ministry said in a statement.
About 56,81,14,630 vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far, through all sources, the Ministry said.
Of this, the total consumption including wastages is 54,22,75,723 doses (as per data available at 8 AM today), it added.
