New Delhi: India recorded 36,401 fresh COVID-19 cases and 530 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total active cases now are 3,64,129, the lowest in 149 days while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,33,049.
Nearly 39,157 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,15,25,080, the Health Ministry said.
A total of 56,64,88,433 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far, with the inoculation of 56,36,336 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, the country recorded 35,178 COVID-19 cases and 440 deaths in 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country recorded 25,166 fresh Covid cases, the lowest in 154 days and 437 deaths in 24 hours.
On Monday, the country recorded 32,937 COVID-19 cases and 417 deaths in 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country recorded 35,499 COVID-19 cases and 447 deaths in 24 hours.
On Saturday last, the country recorded 38,667 COVID-19 cases and 478 deaths in 24 hours.
On Friday last, the country recorded 40,120 COVID-19 cases and 585 deaths in 24 hours.
