New Delhi: India saw further rise in Covid numbers, with 46,164 fresh cases being registered in last 24 hours, along with 607 deaths.
With this increase, the total active cases now are 3,33,725 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,36,365.
Nearly 34,159 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,17,88,440, the Health Ministry said.
A total of 60,38,46,475 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far, with the inoculation of 80,40,407 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, the country recorded 37,593 Covid cases and 648 deaths in 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country recorded 25,467 COVID-19 cases and 354 deaths in 24 hours.
On Monday, the country recorded 25,072 Covid cases, the lowest in 160 days and 375 deaths in 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country reported 30,948 COVID-19 cases and 403 deaths in 24 hours.
On Saturday last, the country recorded 34,457 COVID-19 cases and 375 deaths in 24 hours.
At least 36,571 new cases of corona and 540 deaths in the country in 24 hours were reported last Friday.
