New Delhi: India recorded 27,176 fresh COVID-19 cases and 284 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total active cases now are 3,51,087 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,43,497, the ministry said.
Nearly 38,012 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,25,22,171.
A total of 75,89,12,277 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far, with the inoculation of over 61,15,690 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, the country recorded 25,404 fresh COVID-19 cases and 339 deaths in 24 hours.
At least, 27,254 fresh Covid cases and 219 deaths were reported from across the country on Monday.
On Sunday, the country recorded 28,591 fresh COVID-19 cases and 338 deaths in 24 hours.
The country recorded 33,376 fresh COVID-19 cases and 308 deaths in 24 hours on Saturday.
The previous day report said 34,973 COVID-19 cases and 260 deaths were registered in 24 hours.
On Thursday last, the country recorded 43,263 fresh COVID-19 cases and 338 deaths in 24 hours.
