India records 31,923 new COVID19 cases, 282 deaths

New Delhi: India recorded 31,923 fresh COVID-19 cases and 282 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.

With this increase, the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,46,050.

The country’s total active cases now are 3,01,604, which is the lowest in 187 days, the Ministry said in a statement.

Nearly 31,990 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,28,15,731.

A total of 83,39,90,049 COVID vaccine doses administered across the country so far with inoculation of 71,38,205 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday, the country recorded 26,964 fresh COVID-19 cases and 383 deaths in 24 hours.

The previous day report said 26,115 COVID-19 cases and 252 deaths were registered in 24 hours.

Nearly 30,256 fresh COVID-19 cases and 295 deaths were reported across the country, a day earlier.

On Sunday, the country recorded 30,773 fresh COVID-19 cases and 309 deaths in 24 hours.

At least, 35,662 fresh Covid cases and 281 deaths were reported from across the country on Saturday last.

On Friday last, the country recorded 34,403 fresh COVID-19 cases and 320 deaths in the last 24 hours.
