New Delhi: India recorded 13,451 fresh Covid cases and 585 fatalities in the last 24 hours, Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,55,653
The total active cases now stand at 1,62,661 which is the lowest in 242 days, the Ministry said.
Nearly 14,021 patients have recovered across the country in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,35,97,339.
Yesterday, the country recorded 12,428 Covid infections and 356 deaths in 24 hours.
On Monday, the country recorded 14,306 Covid cases and 443 fatalities in 24 hours
The country recorded 15,906 Covid cases and 561 fatalities in 24 hours, a day earlier.
The single-day figure reported last Saturday was 16,326 along with 666 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
During the previous 24 hours, 15,786 new cases and 231 deaths were reported from across the country.
On Thursday last, the government reported 18,454 fresh cases against 14,623 recorded during the previous day.
The government on Thursday also reported 160 deaths during the previous 24 hours.
