India reports 12,830 new COVID-19 cases, 446 deaths

New Delhi: India recorded 12,830 fresh Covid cases and 446 fatalities in the last 24 hours, Union Health Ministry said today.

With this, the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,58,186 and the total active cases stand at 1,59,272, the lowest in 247 days.

Nearly 14,667 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,36,55,842, it said.

Yesterday, the country recorded 14,313 fresh Covid cases and 549 fatalities in 24 hours.

The country registered 14,348 fresh Covid cases and 805 fatalities, a day earlier.

On Thursday, around 16,156 fresh Covid cases and 733 fatalities were recorded across the country in 24 hours.

During the previous 24 hours, 13,451 new cases and 585 deaths were reported from across the country.

Nearly 12,428 Covid infections and 356 deaths were reported on Tuesday.

A day prior to that, 14,306 fresh COVID-19 cases and 443 fatalities were reported in 24 hours.
