New Delhi: India registered 10,126 fresh Covid cases and 332 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 4,61,389 while the country’s active cases now stand at 1,40,638, which is the lowest in 263 days.
Nearly 11,982 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,37,75,086.
Consequently, the recovery rate stands at least 98.25%, which is the highest since March 2020, the Ministry said.
The country registered 11,451 fresh Covid cases and 266 fatalities in 24 hours, a day earlier.
On Sunday, the government reported registration of 10,853 fresh covid cases and 526 fatalities in 24 hours.
During the previous 24 hours, 10,929 new cases and 392 deaths were reported from across the country.
A day prior to that, 12,729 fresh COVID-19 cases and 221 fatalities were reported in 24 hours.
On Thursday last, the country recorded 12,885 new Covid-19 cases and 461 deaths in 24 hours.
The country registered 11,903 fresh Covid cases and 311 fatalities last Wednesday.
